**We at Nordmarkens distillery welcome you to a guided tour of our distillery. Here you will learn more about us, our craft, our products and how the distillation process works, both for whiskey and gin. **
The Farm Sale Act requires a paid, knowledge-enhancing activity of at least 30 minutes. During the show, we share our journey and the passion behind our different products. After the show, you who are over 20 years old will have the opportunity to buy a bottle of our own drinks — directly from us on site (max 1 bottle per person). Here you can choose between our products available at Systembolaget but also other products that are only sold at farm sales. (Farm sales will also be offered in conjunction with our beverage tastings.)
When attending this knowledge-enhancing display, you are offered to take advantage of the farm sale scheme and buy a bottle directly at the distillery.
Nordmarkens Distilleri is run by a creative team with great comradeship, and previous experience working with whisky and other beverages. It is a burning interest in beverage making that is the driving force to build our brand, one bottle at a time. The focus is more on quality than quantity and the watchwords are quality, craftsmanship and passion.
In 2014, Gunnar, Morgan and Ingmar started the company which is based in Holmedal outside Årjäng surrounded by swaying barley fields, the Värmland forest and streams with lovely fresh water.
Everyday life is filled with the drive to offer exclusive and innovative drinking experiences to anyone who wants to experience the little extra in smaller artisan-produced beverage batches, using our own malt whisky, premium Gin and vodka-based, characterful drinks.
In 2018, the distillery moved into new premises where we artistically, using carefully selected raw materials, distill raw spirits in our Scottish boilers, which lays the foundation for our own exclusive single malt and single grain characters. Among other things, a Swedish organic malt is used which produces both an elegant fruity and unsmoked distillate as well as a characteristic smoky distillate. With the same joy and passion, we produce distilled Gin in our unique Gin pan.
Nordmarkens Distilleri also offers whisky, gin and schnapps tastings, which we have a long experience of.
